Bowmore distillery on Islay has been producing top-notch whisky since 1816, with the success thanks in part to the microclimate found in Bowmore’s No.1 Vaults which lie below sea level. Whisky from Bowmore is often slightly smoky with notes of salt, citrus, and tropical fruit. Sherried Bowmore packs a punch with chocolate, dark fruits, and coffee.
