DOWNSIZING

We help you arrange the sale of unwanted items and help organize house clearances.

A helping hand when you need it most

Moving house is often a very stressful time – let us take some of the pressure off you by helping you sell any unwanted antiques and collectables, and we can even help you clear the entire house should you need it.

By selling your items strategically we can significantly increase your returns.

For instance, selling a collection of Chinese porcelain through a specialist London Asian Art sale will ensure it is correctly catalogued, marketed and sold for the highest possible price.

By selling items privately you can avoid any auction house commission (often between 40-50% of the gross sale price).

Selling scrap silver and gold in this way your client may save thousands.

Why does this matter?

Auction houses give subjective advice as they want the sale for themselves.

We are the only way to ensure you receive independent and objective advice on how to sell and who to sell through.

Can we clean the bathroom sink?

Yes. But not personally.

We work with a house clearance company who can dispose of all unsaleable items and leave your client with a clean and empty house ready to market.

What do we charge?

If items are consigned to auction through us there is no additional charge. We will simply receive a commission from the auction house.

If we sell items privately we charge 10% of the sale price.
