The Rolling Stones have launched Crossfire Hurricane Rum, a new super-premium spirit celebrating the band’s creative relationship with Jamaica spanning more than fifty years. The rum is now available across the United States, the United Kingdom and key European markets.
Crossfire Hurricane is the first brand to unite rums from four of Jamaica’s most respected distilleries — Hampden Estate, Long Pond, Worthy Park and Clarendon. The blend combines distinct styles into a single liquid that reflects the breadth of the island’s rum-making tradition, with no added sugar.

The band described the project’s roots in a joint statement. “Jamaica got into everything we did in the early seventies — the music, the rhythm, the pace of life. Jamaica was one of the few places that would let us all in,” The Rolling Stones said. “The island said come in and we recorded Goats Head Soup. It’s never let us down since. Crossfire Hurricane is a continuation of that story, more than fifty years on.”
The Rolling Stones partnered with Ian Burrell, the Global Rum Ambassador and one of the category’s most respected voices, as co-creator. Burrell brought deep expertise in Jamaican rum and its cultural significance to the project.
“Crossfire Hurricane breaks new ground as the first brand to unite rums from four of Jamaica’s six remaining distilleries — Hampden Estate, Long Pond, Worthy Park, and Clarendon — each producing a distinctly different style of spirit,” said Ian Burrell, Global Rum Ambassador and co-creator of Crossfire Hurricane. “The result is a rum of exceptional complexity and character, unlike anything else on the market.”
The name draws from the opening lyric of Jumpin’ Jack Flash. The bottle design places the band’s iconic tongue and lips logo at its centre, surrounded by radiating wave patterns that echo sound, movement and live performance.
Jamaica has long held significance for the band. The Rolling Stones recorded their 1973 album Goats Head Soup at Dynamic Sounds studios in Kingston, a period widely regarded as a defining chapter in their history.
Beyond the bottle, the brand’s digital platform features never-before-seen images of the band in Jamaica alongside storytelling around that era.
Crossfire Hurricane is designed to be enjoyed neat, in simple serves or in elevated craft cocktails, with signature recipes ranging from a tropical Hurricane to a spirit-forward Old Fashioned.
