The Value & Sale of Jack Daniel’s Whiskey

Jack Daniel’s is one of the most, if not the most famous American whiskey. Daniel’s first began distilling in the early 1870s and the infamous square bottles that would go on to be synonymous with the brand were launched in 1897.

In 1904 Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 whiskey received a prestigious award and from then onward the brand has continued to grow and expand (despite the distillery being located in a dry state!)

How much is your Jack Daniel’s whiskey worth?

Despite their popularity with drinkers, bottles of blended whiskey simply do not command the same prices as their single malt counterpart. Blended whiskey does not have the same market for collectors, largely due to the fact that they are by their nature mass produced, and as such are relatively easy to get hold of.

  • Standard Jack Daniel’s from the 1970s and 1980s are worth £100 – £200.
  • Modern bottles are worth less than £100.

What is my Limited Edition Jack Daniel’s whiskey worth?
