The term WOWGR is something that you will most likely come across when researching cask investment. But, what are they? And, more importantly, do you need one in order to own a cask?
WOWGR stands for Warehousekeepers and Owners of Warehoused Goods Regulations. As such, the WOWGR is a register that revenue traders must be accepted onto. As such, you do not need a WOWGR unless you are a revenue trader.
There is a common misconception that you must be on the WOWGR register in order to receive a delivery order. This is not true. Watch the video above to find out all that you need to know about WOWGRs, or read our comprehensive blog on WOWGRS, and legislation surrounding cask ownership.
