Chivas Regal was launched at the turn of the 20th century as a blend of older whiskies to appeal to the booming luxury market in the USA prior to prohibition.
Chivas Regal is one of the most popular whiskies in the USA and has been linked to many famous names, including Sinatra. It’s modern editions have won international awards for blended whisky.

Despite their popularity with drinkers, bottles of blended whisky simply do not command the same prices as their single malt counterpart.
