Market data shows this is the minimum age when casks become commercially viable, with significant value increases occurring beyond this point. Before 12 years, casks have not yet reached their investment potential and lack appeal to commercial buyers.

If your cask is:

• 12 years or older: We’ll send your valuation within 2-3 working days
• Under 12 years: We recommend holding until maturity
