Mark Littler LTD have been invited to make regular contributions to Antique Collecting magazine and the December issue saw our first full length article published in the popular magazine.
It has always been our aim to share our knowledge of the antiques world with as many people as possible so it is great to have this new connection. We will be covering a whole host of topics, from Whisky to Watches so make sure you pick up your copy.
Our first article is titled Liquid Gold. Apt for the time of year, when you may be tempted to dig out that bottle of whisky that’s been sitting at the back of your cupboard for 30+ years. We are urging readers to make sure they are not breaking the seal on a bottle that may now be worth hundreds – or even thousands – of pounds.
Macallan Private Eye is one bottle that was less than £40 when it was originally for sale and is now worth around £3,000 a bottle! We are not suggesting that all the whisky in your cupboard will have seen the same kinds of increase in value, but if you have a bottle from the 1990s or earlier then please get in touch for a valuation.
